There is a really cool tradition in place here at the Unibake UK office in Bagshot. It is called FAB, which stands for Fun At Bagshot. The FAB team, consisting of a few people in the office, plan and organize activities on a regular basis for the rest of us. This time the activity was “top golf”.
For those of you who haven’t heard about “top golf” before, it is best described as a mix between dart, bowling and golf. To tell you the truth, I was a bit worried before I got there. I had been on a golf court only once before. That was when I was ten and it was during an outing with my school. I remember being a bit smug, saying I probably had it in me and thinking I would be a natural pro. Needless to say, my expectations were set a little high. I came last out of a group of thirty.
Though I hadn’t improved much since the last time I took a swing, I have to admit it was a lot of fun and I would love to do it again. Also, which was the main point really, it was great to meet colleagues outside of the workplace. Next time the plan is to play badminton and I promise I’ll be the first to sign up!
Love from London,
Elin
