Your Role As Sustainability Manager at Swecon, you will play a key role in driving and implementing our sustainability strategy across a large, dynamic organization. This is a business-oriented position with broad responsibilities, offering you the chance to work on a variety of sustainability and leadership topics. If you are passionate about understanding complex systems, building relationships, and leading positive change, this is the perfect opportunity for you. This position includes responsibility for managing a budget, as well as regular business travel.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and implement Swecon’s sustainability strategy in close collaboration with local operations.
  • Set priorities and follow up on our sustainability goals to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work on both strategic and tactical levels, including ongoing projects decided together with your manager.
  • Build strong internal and external networks with all business areas and key stakeholders.
  • Identify improvement areas from a holistic perspective and support management with insights and recommendations.
  • Engage in sustainability planning, reporting, analysis, and communication of activities throughout the organization.

Your Profile

  • University degree in sustainability, engineering, or economics.
  • Proven ability to lead and drive sustainability initiatives in a decentralized organization.
  • Understanding of, and experience with, Science Based Targets (SBT), Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), GHG Protocol, and CSRD.
  • Strong interest in Swecon’s business and sustainability impact.
  • Good communication skills in English (spoken and written); Swedish and German are advantageous.
  • Relationship builder with the ability to establish and nurture strong networks.
  • Analytical, solution-oriented, and eager to drive sustainable change.
  • Open-minded, innovative, and receptive to new ideas.
