An exciting opportunity has arisen for Plant Manager, Panevėžys bakery to join our Vilniaus duona team.

This is what you will do

As Plant Manager you will be a member of Vilniaus duona leadership team and lead Panevėžys bakery production organization to secure safe work environment, quality products, efficient processes and cost competitiveness for sustainable business.

The Panevėžys bakery's production organization consists the following core functions: production planning, warehousing, manufacturing, equipment maintenance, health and safety, product quality and technology, and continuous improvement, in total ca 140 FTEs.

Primary areas of responsibility:

  • Ensure the delivery of budgetary targets and key performance indicators across all operational areas
  • Translate and communicate company strategy, goals, and targets across all departments to ensure alignment and execution
  • Strategically plan and manage production inputs including workforce, technical infrastructure, capabilities, investments, and energy consumption
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal and external partners, handling agreements, escalations, and site-related decision-making
  • Lead by example in fostering a values-driven culture, promoting integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Mentor and coach the production team to cultivate internal talent and support professional growth
  • Maintain and enhance workplace and food safety protocols in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies

This is what you need to succeed:

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Food Technology, or a related field
  • Production or manufacturing management expecience, preferrable in food sector
  • A proven and successful track record of solid achievement against manufacturing KPI’s in a leadership role and leading large teams directly
  • Proven ability in developing people and business performance through empowering and coaching style of leadership
  • Good working knowledge of complying with ISO and FSSC and/or BRC standards
  • Proven change management experience
  • Understanding of continuous improvement and principles of lean manufacturing
  • Ability to create vision, influence and drive actions
  • Ability to inspire and motivate both your direct and indirect reports, promoting a one-team approach and an environment where respect, trust and integrity is maintained at all time
  • Good communicational and presentational skills
  • Natural problem solving ability
  • Good analytical skills
  • Excelent English language in speech and writing

Monthly salary (gross) offer starts from 5000 Eur (Gross) plus annual bonus based on the company's performance. Final offer will be based on candidate's competencies, experience and compliance with position requirements.
