An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Planner and Technical Buyer (Engineer) to join our Lantmännen Unibake team at our bakery in Pantelimon, Ilfov.

Reporting to Technical Manager, you will play a leading role to improve work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access.

This is what you will do

    • Plan and schedule all maintenance work (preventive, predictive, corrective) performed on alignment with production plan.
    • Maintain planning liaison and coordination between the production and maintenance organization.
    • Maintain appropriate records and files to permit meaningful analysis and reporting of results or work done.
    • Guide and support the implementation of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), e.g. API Pro.
    • Responsible for long-range as well as short-range planning of all jobs carried out by maintenance execution team.
    • Carry out regular analysis of backlog relative to available resources and seeks to balance these variables in order to establish a sustainable proactive maintenance environment.
    • Receive all work orders from requesting departments and checks them
    • Assist in the development of work request procedures and ensures that these procedures are adhered to.
    • Review with discipline engineers those work orders requiring engineering design or engineering input.
    • Develop , implement and update the plant hierarchy and technical library into the CMMS
    • Check stocks level and coordinate with stores the replenishment of key strategic stocks
    • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, related to planning and scheduling activities and all legal/logistic issues.
    • Manage all Maintenance Storeroom activities which include inventory control, minimum/maximum of parts set point, parts ordering, stocking of items and managing the union storekeepers; ensure that spare parts are readily available.
    • Responsible to procure and launch the purchase of technical articles/services, in line with internal procedures

This is what you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in the field of production line maintenance
  • Fluency in English and Romanian, both written and spoken
  • Proven experience in Maintenance scheduling and creating work orders
  • Great technical & project skills
  • Solid experience in continuous improvement programs
  • Good knowledge in MS office and reporting tools
  • Good Knowledge in using a Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Knowledge of local statutory requirements.
