An exciting opportunity has arisen for Global Logistics Excellence Manager to join our Lantmännen Unibake team at our headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark.

In this role, you’ll drive logistics excellence initiatives that connect our local business units with Global Supply Chain team, IT, Controlling, and Procurement, delivering performance that enables Unibake’s strategic ambitions.

This is what you will do

You'll play a key role in driving logistics excellence across our international network. You’ll lead the implementation and development of our Transportation Management System (Transporeon), analyze logistics data to identify improvement opportunities, and support local units in optimizing end-to-end operations. Working closely with the Global Logistics Director and cross-functional teams, you’ll help shape Unibake’s global supply chain strategy, enhance efficiency, and strengthen partnerships with key logistics providers.

Primary areas of responsibility:

  • Lead and continuously develop Unibake’s global Transportation Management System (Transporeon) to drive logistics excellence.
  • Translate business needs into smart logistics solutions in close collaboration with IT and BPM teams.
  • Ensure seamless system integration across platforms and support performance management tools.
  • Act as the global Subject Matter Expert on Transporeon, providing guidance and support to local units.
  • Analyze logistics data and performance to identify improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Track and report global Cost Saving Initiatives (CSIs) and ensure follow-up on business cases.
  • Drive process optimization projects that enhance efficiency, transparency, and sustainability.
  • Support tenders and negotiations with logistics partners in collaboration with Procurement.
  • Promote best practice sharing and process standardization across markets and teams.
  • Contribute to Unibake’s global logistics strategy and strengthen partnerships with key 3PL providers.

This is what you need to succeed:

You have:

  • A relevant degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field (minimum Bachelor level).
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems, logistics optimization tools, EDI, and business intelligence (BI) platforms.
  • 10+ years of experience within supply chain and logistics, ideally in a global FMCG or food manufacturing environment with multiple production sites.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
