An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accountant to join our Lantmännen Unibake team at our office in Pantelimon, Ilfov.
Reporting to the Treasury, Tax & Internal Controls Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient functioning of the accounting and tax operations of the company, including monthly closing of financial books in compliance with legislation (tax, accounting, etc.) and internal policies
This is what you will do:
- Ensure timely and accurate accounting activities including General Ledger, VAT and Tax reporting transactions.
- Efficiently process primary documents, including bank statements, payables (invoices for services, goods received, and expense claims).
- Prepare statutory, tax and other declarations.
- Prepare Transfer Pricing documentation.
- Be part of monthly closing and reporting process.
- Participate in the annual external audit process.
- Weekly preparation of lists detailing issued and overdue invoices, actively pursuing timely debt collection through collaboration with other departments.
- Propose enhancements to accounting processes and systems for increased efficiency.
- Ensures all necessary supporting documents are archived to comply with fiscal/statutory regulations.
