Do you want to be part of transforming an entire industry? Do you have experience in international sales and a passion for driving business growth? Then you might be the one we're looking for in the role of Sales Manager at Cgrain – an innovative technology company at the forefront of its field.

This is what you will do

Cgrain develops and manufactures analytical instruments for quality control of cereals using advanced image analysis. The technology is new to the industry and is based on image analysis and advanced AI. The first product was launched at the end of 2014, and the company is now entering an expansive phase with sales across multiple international markets.

Cgrain is in a phase of exciting development and growth, both with existing customers and through entry into new markets. Our customers are currently located primarily in Europe and the USA, but also in Canada, South Africa, and Turkey. They operate in the milling and malting industries, grain trading, laboratory services, and plant breeding. With our technology we challenge a traditional, manual industry by offering digital, AI-based grain analysis and you will be a key figure in driving that shift.

As Sales Manager at Cgrain, you will play a crucial and strategically important role in driving the company’s growth journey forward. You will be responsible for the entire sales process, from identifying and establishing new international customer contacts, to demonstrating our instruments, training users, selling our solutions, and closing deals. A key part of your role will also be to further develop cooperation with our distributors and resellers, as well as actively working on establishing our presence in new markets. You will focus primarily on Europe but will also work with markets such as the USA, Turkey, and South Africa.

In addition to sales, you will have overarching responsibility for our ongoing marketing efforts. While you won’t be expected to execute everything operationally yourself, you will set direction, prioritize, and follow up. You will also lead our sales team, which currently consists of one direct report, and collaborate closely with other departments such as R&D, production, service, and model development.

This role requires you to be proactive, independent, and driven — someone who sees what needs to be done, makes decisions, and moves things forward. You’ll have significant freedom to shape your role, your daily work, and Cgrain’s future sales strategy. We have high ambitions, and you will be part of building, influencing, and changing the industry.

You will report to the CEO of Cgrain, Moa Källgren, and be based in Uppsala. Learn more about Cgrain here!
