We are looking for a Risk and H&S Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will drive risk management and health and safety initiatives across our global operations, contributing to a safe and sustainable working environment. This is what you will do
As a Risk and H&S Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing group-level health and safety initiatives and assessing risk in our operations, supporting our divisions across multiple locations.

The role is equally shared between Group Health and Safety and Group Risk Management, ensuring a coordinated approach to risk management and safety across the organization, while drawing synergies from both fields.

An important part of your responsibilities will be to oversee and regularly participate in audits related to fire protection and health and safety at our domestic and international sites. You will monitor and follow-up on the outcome of the audits while continuously refining and improving health and safety aspects and fire protection, as well as coaching the organization to implement the right actions. Furthermore, you will ensure that business units take action to address deficiencies identified and documented in reports.

Your role will be crucial in ensuring compliance with Lantmännen’s health and safety requirements, fostering continuous improvement, and developing a strong safety culture. You will contribute to the development of policies and guidelines, as well as the refinement of systematic health and safety and fire protection processes. Additionally, you will support the development of systematic health and safety work across the group and provide expert advice in projects related to health, safety, fire protection and risk management. You will act as the system owner and superuser at the group level for our common incident reporting system (IA), managing its administration across the organization.

This position is based in Stockholm or Malmö. The role involves regular travels, both within Sweden and internationally. You will be reporting to the Head of Health and Safety.


You have:

  • A degree in Fire Engineering, education/courses within health and safety is a plus.
  • Proven experience from the manufacturing sector, ideally within FMCG or the process industry.
  • Experience in managing health and safety on a strategic and operational level.
  • Solid knowledge of international health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and audits, as well as implementing corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with Commercial Property Insurance is an advantage.
  • The ability and willingness to travel, including urgent trips.
  • Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
