I couldn’t have got a better introduction of Swecon, joining the newly employed Swecon-colleagues in Eskilstuna for company presentations, “demonstration-dance” with the Volvo CE, and a tour along the “memory lane” of CE machineries, such as Grus-Kalle, at the Bolider Munktell museum.

After a lot of desk research for my project and a day with Börje Andersson at sales of spare parts in Uppsala, I got visit our teams in the Baltics! During my trips I have met with our customers, our teams, and some external stakeholders. In Estonia, I took the chance to join a lunch with their newly appointed President, Mrs Kersti Kaljulaid, where she spoke about Estonia2020. During the Q&A-session I asked her about the possibilities and challenges when collaborating with Lithuania and Latvia with the railway-project Rail Baltica 2. She believes in high speed train, let’s hope that it will go as planned!
